Diet & lifestyle support for chemotherapy

In my practice, I provide natural support for chemotherapy. My primary training was through the Oncology Nutrition Institute. Upon completing my certification, I thoroughly explored the topic by taking numerous continuing education courses and reading a wide array of materials, and I continue to do so.

What makes natural supports ideal for chemotherapy?

Natural supports can:

• enhance drug delivery effectiveness

• aid in preventing drug resistance

• selectively boost cytotoxicity

• decrease toxicity to organs, blood cells, and systems

• reduce symptoms

• enhance comfort and quality of life

• assist immune clearance of remaining cells

• improve response and remission rates

A standardized protocol doesn't exist. Each client presents unique foundational issues and underlying health conditions, and they may be taking various medications before a cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, every type of cancer and chemotherapy agent differs, meaning that some supplements might aid specific agents while not benefiting others. It's crucial to consider the interactions between drugs and herbs.

Due to these reasons, I cannot provide general suggestions to non-clients. I am not familiar with your narrative! Additionally, I cannot comment on another practitioner's client. Although I don't want gatekeep information, sharing my opinions would be inappropriate and could result in malpractice on my part.

Chemotherapy support is included in the price of the support I give my clients. Let me know if I can help you in any way.
